Roots Land report details the number of transactions and sales prices of apartments in Dubai in the first half of 2016. The report categorizes the properties into studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom homes and provides a breakdown of the number of apartments sold every month, sales prices and the most expensive apartment sold in any given area – Dubai Marina or Business Bay, for example. The research suggests that the most preferred type of apartment to buy in Dubai is a one-bedroom property. In the past two quarters, owners in Dubai Marina have seen a greater return on their investment than owners in other areas of Dubai. The apartments sold there had the highest combined value, followed by Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT).
